Ok, this is it people. I’m switching blogs again. I know this will be difficult for all you creatures of habit…umm….mom…becky…and you know who you are! But I have found Blogger to be more user friendly for posting pics on my lap top, so I’m making the switch. Happy new year!! Here’s to big things in 2008!!

I can’t believe we only have a few days left! I’m not ready to come back to the cold, that’s for sure! We had a relaxing day by the pool and hit Sharky’s for supper. The kids AND adults are totally wiped by 9:00 every night. Even with all the relaxing, my shingles are still hanging on. Not fun. Other than that, things are going perfectly. The weather has been gorgeous…right around 80 each day. Perfect. Here are some pics from today…

So Ayla is 7 weeks today. I guess she decided she was done sleeping and came out of her 7 week coma. She has slept about 2 hours today! That’s a record!! She seems pretty happy…and she is just so darn cute with those bright eyes!
Paul and I snuck away for a few hours this afternoon. We told the kids we were going on a date. They asked if we were going to kiss. I said “Probably!” We hopped in a convertible that was totally inappropriate for 3 kids, drove to a restaurant and ate an appetizer that our children would have vomited at the sight of, drank a couple frozen drinks that are not acceptable for anyone under the age of 21, and laughed and talked about things that are not for children’s ears. It was GREAT! The kids enjoyed the pool at home and Ayla took a bottle for me mom. So exciting! The temp was about 85 degrees here today. We may be looking for real estate tomorrow…
Spent the day at the beach yesterday. So not missing the snow in Iowa…
Ayla has this vacation thing figured out. Eat and sleep. That’s it.
